As the company continues to grow, we are now looking for a Financial Analyst who wants to be part of contributing to financial follow-up, analysis, and development in an entrepreneurial environment with a fast pace and great variety. About the Role
As a Financial Analyst at Areim, you will be part of a growing finance function focused on financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting for the Areim group. The role offers broad exposure to complex financial structures and involves close collaboration with the CFO, Finance Director, and other senior functions within the organisation.
You will work both operationally and project-based, with the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility within forecasting, reporting, and the development of models and ways of working. The role suits someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with a fast pace, where new questions and projects continuously arise, giving you the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
Your responsibilities
Support financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting across the Areim group
Contribute to quarterly and annual closing processes, as well as internal reporting
Develop, maintain, and enhance forecasting and financial models
Prepare and review reporting materials for partners, the board, and external stakeholders
Analyse profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and liquidity
Manage transactions, valuations, and liquidity flows related to holding companies and investments
Support reporting and ongoing communication with external stakeholder
Contribute to improving financial processes, reporting, and follow-up routines
Support the development of data and reporting solutions, including BI tools and Excel models
Qualifications and suitable background
University degree in finance, economics, or equivalent
2-5 years of relevant work experience, as a financial analyst or/and within audit
Experience from fund, financial, or advisory environments is a plus
Very strong Excel skills
Interest in data, analysis, automation, and BI tools
Strong analytical ability and interest in understanding the business behind the numbers
Fluent in Swedish and good command of English, both spoken and written, as communication is conducted in both languages.
